And so it's time for Bridal Studio Shopping?!!
I can't believe i'm going through it, but it happens to everybody once in their lifetime yah?
So after Ju went to scout first at 5 bridal studios (BS), she zoomed into one.....
Cuz of the gown, which she really love and looks stunning on her.....

We settled with a BS called D'Sire......
Posh, grand deco inside..... lovely gowns and also really good customer service, patient and friendly, not the "pushy-i-want-you-to signup" kind of attitude. I really get turned off with those BS when they haress you by literally pulling your arm into their BS and telling you that it'll take only 5mins of your time, while in actual fact, they take 1-2hrs. "see see only lah, very fast one!" My foot ah!!!

Ju chose this really fabulous gown, a 2 piece off-white gown.....
and the bottom's like a rose pattern design thingy.... i'm hopeless in expressing in words
so i'll quote from her blog. hehe

"Couture Gown with beautiful silver thread / crystal embroidery on the bustier... the bottom and train...."

You should see how excited she is when she came back after BS hunting.....
Laying down the excitement and thrills of it to me, half of which i don't understand till i see it....
Thereafter, she'll go online to wedding forums and websites of BS religiously.....
Doesn't stop there, she'll buy bridal magazines and also borrow from people.....
Well, this proves my theory of everybody.... "There's a kid in everyone of us, regardless of age"

And so the happy couple got married!
Yup my bro and Irene had their ceremony at church yesterday
Morning was the usual door knocking/bride claiming thingy
We had to go through hell just to get through the main gate
We drank apple cidar vinegar, ate bitter gourd, drank syrup and ate biscuits full of wasabi inside
One of the 'brothers' puked after eating 3-4 slices of bitter gourd and a slice of wasabi biscuit
Some Q&A and a pole dance performed by the groom and one of his bros. Haha.... it was hilarious but cruel at the same time.
Damn my turn is coming *gulps*
Had tea ceremony on the bride's side, then headed to our aunty's place for tea ceremony for the groom's side. Then headed to church for the wedding ceremony.
Even though it was my 2nd time this year being the best man, i had a great time!
The wedding was like a reunion of my friends and church members i've never seen in a long time! Some as long as 7-8yrs long! It was such a nice feeling, a warm and cosy feeling inside.
Had a buffet lunch after the wedding then we mingled and cleaned up.
Felt happy and all for my bro and irene for they've been together for a very long time and we finally witness them become one under the eyes of the Lord. God bless them both! =)

Oh, one more thing, try guessing what my number plate is.
I love it!!! guess i'm quite lucky to get it. And no, i didn't bid for it.

Some clues....
1.) 4 digits in total
2.) 3 similar digits
3.) the 3 similar digits is a lucky number

The person who gets it right wins a prize!!!
So let the guesses begin!!! closing date is 1st October? haha =)

"Try to catch me riding dirty!!!"

So after being bikeless for 3 days, my new ride's ready to hit da streets of da Republic of Singapura!!! Presenting the Honda CB400 SPEC3!
2006 Model, Gun-Metal (Grey) colour with gold rims! Wikked ain't it?!
Next up, the fun part, will be pimpin' my ride! Accessories and Essentials....

I feel like a kid who's bought his first Tamiya toy car, thereafter spent countless of hours at the shops admiring & buying accessories pimpin' his toy car, making it flashy and also modding his engine, finding ways to speed his ride up so that he can beat the other kids at the track. Haha... Those were the good old days...

Well i guess we have a kid in everyone of us yah? Just that the toys get bigger and better. =)

A Tribute To My Beloved

So finally after close to 2 yrs of riding on my beloved Phantom,
it's time to say goodbye. Finished up on my last payments and decided to get a bigger bike.
As they say, 'the old must go for the new' & 'good things will come to an end'.
It didn't dawn on me till the last night before i sold my bike that i'm losing a bike that has been good to me, good in a sense that it's almost problem free! Very low maintenance, very economic on cost. But there's always 'the upgrade'. I guess humans are always never satisfied hor? haha!

As I passed the keys and instructions to the new owner, my heart sank a little.
And when he drove away my baby as i watched him leave, my heart sank deeper.
But one thing that made me almost burst out laughing is when Ju said to me, "it's ok to cry, you know?" haha.... Muaks! Love my baby!
Sigh, you will be missed my lovely Honda Phantom TA200. Be good to your new owner yah?

Damn! It's been almost a month since i last updated my blog!
Really collecting cob webs liao. Anyway, nothing much happened.
Work as usual. Nothing really interesting is happening.
The only thing i'm looking forward to is getting a new bike!
Yes, a new ride! Finished paying up my installments for my current bike
So i'm looking ard for something bigger, something steadier, something more flashy,
something more powerful, something like a Honda Super 4 Vtec 3!!!

Yup, yup... gonna get a new one this time. Should be getting either a gun-metal (grey)
colour, or a black one..... which one would you prefer? Vote vote!
